I am a computational biologist passionate about leveraging big data and analytics to improve human health. During my Ph.D. at MIT, I specialized in the emerging field of wastewater epidemiology. Sewage is our collective microbiome. It can be analyzed with genomics and metabolomics to characterize the health of entire populations and stay ahead of infectious disease and drug abuse epidemics.
As co-founder of Biobot Analytics, I aim to build a wastewater epidemiology platform that maps human health in every city in the world. We build the technology to generate health data from sewage accurately, and we make this novel type of data useful to public health and public safety officials.
